“Who would hire a fresher to be directly mentored by the CEO? Why would the CEO even agree to this? These were the exact thoughts coming to my mind while I was filling out the Google form named “Fresher with CEO Aspirations” for applying to Moolya, late September 2020”
Moolya’s own energy-ball and young leader Rucha still awes over her extraordinary Moolyan journey. She can’t believe how it all happened and how the people around her have changed her over the last year.
“The journey has always been fun. I look at my role as that of an enabler and I have had the opportunity to work with many super-cool, super-talented, and super-humble folks. That’s why Moolya never has a dull moment.”
Rucha was quick to understand that Moolya doesn’t believe in confining people to their narrow roles, but rather encourages a holistic environment for the growth of Moolyans.
“Despite coming from an engineering background, taking a software job was the last thing I ever wanted. But as luck would have it, I got into a software testing firm and now I have my hands on many things at once. I am exploring email campaigns in sales, learning about various business functions, and getting insights from Pradeep. He taught me what it means to be a generalist. Yes,I have the freedom to do a lot of things, and with this freedom comes responsibility.”
As a true-blue Moolyan, Rucha talks about the collective success that Moolya has experienced over the past one year.
“It’s been a fantastic year for Moolya. We went from 200 to 350 Moolyans, and got projects from all over the world. It’s quite the journey and I’m grateful for being a part of it!”4
